These terms govern the use of Contadito (the "Service"), operated by Nuvio, Costa Rica (the "Operator"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy. This English text is a courtesy translation; the Spanish version prevails.
Contadito is a personal-finance organizer: you can record and categorize transactions, import statements, set budgets, goals and debts, and view forecasts and analyses.
The Service is not a financial institution; it does not move, hold or transfer money, does not connect to your bank accounts, and is not supervised by SUGEF or SUGEVAL.
You must be at least 18 and legally able to contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your registration data and for keeping your password confidential.
Tell us immediately about any unauthorized use of your account.
You agree to upload only your own information, or information you are authorized to use, including any statements you import.
You must not: access accounts or systems without authorization, scrape data, interfere with the Service, bypass its security measures or use it for unlawful purposes.
Information, forecasts, comparisons and AI-generated analysis are for information only and may contain errors. They are not financial, investment, tax or legal advice. You alone are responsible for your financial decisions.
The AI analysis feature is optional and uses your own Anthropic API key. When you use it, a summary of your month’s spending is sent from your browser to Anthropic, under the terms and privacy policy you hold with that provider. The Operator does not receive your key.
Bank names or file formats mentioned (for example BAC) only indicate compatibility. The Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by those institutions.
The Service, its design and code belong to the Operator. You keep all rights to your data and grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process it solely to provide the Service.
The Service is provided "as is". We aim for availability and correct calculations but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Keep your own backups and verify important figures.
To the extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or decisions made based on the Service. Nothing here limits the non-waivable rights that Law 7472 grants consumers.
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account and data at any time by writing to soporte@nuvio.cr. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the Service and, where applicable, you will be asked to accept them again. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of Costa Rica. Without prejudice to consumer rights, disputes go to the competent courts of Costa Rica. Contact: soporte@nuvio.cr.
